Easter Saturday
Easter Saturday we got together with my family and had a cook-out. It was so much fun to be together and visit with one another. We also celebrated by mom's birthday. Then, the kids went on an Easter egg hunt. They had a blast. The best part was all the candy they got of course.

(Look at my Easter eggs!)

(Mmm, I can't wait to eat some candy!)

Easter Sunday
The kids woke up and found that the Easter Bunny had come. They were so excited. They each got a basket full of candy and of course a big chocolate bunny and they each got a new Easter outfit. Anna got a little baby and a purple bunny. She was very happy about her new baby. We have early church so we were kind of in a rush and we didn't have time to take any pictures of them with their Easter baskets. Darn it.
But, after church, before we went to the Pearson's for an Easter dinner, we hurried and took some pictures of the kids in their new church clothes they got for Easter. The pictures turned out so cute, considering we were in a hurry and some of them are so silly, which I love because they were just being themselves. Here are a few of my favorites.

After we took the kids' pictures we hurried and changed our clothes and went to the in-laws for an Easter dinner that my mom-in-law made. It was so yummy. Robyn really is a great cook. I love everything she makes. Then the kids went on yet another Easter egg hunt. More treats. They have so much candy still! Then, we all went on a walk together. It was so fun and the kids had a blast at the park. Not everyone could be there, so it was just us and James' sister and her family. We had a great time together just visiting.
(Getting ready to go on our walk)

(I really was happy, the sun was in my eyes and I wasn't ready for the picture. LOL)
(My mom-in-law Robyn, sis-in-law Beckie, and dad-in-law Lee)

(Anna was so scared to go down the slide. She liked it better when grandma went along with her.)

(The big kids loved the merry-go-round.)

We had a wonderful Easter. I love it so much, because it's a day to focus on and think about what our Savior has done for each of us and for his resurrection. I am so grateful to my Savior and for what he has done for me.
I had to put these pictures on here of Anna. We bought her a big girl car seat awhile ago and she was so excited. I love these pictures of her. She is growing up too fast. She is so much fun and I love her so dang much.
