Well, we sure have had a crazy couple of weeks! A few weekends ago, James went to scout camp for a few days and me and the kiddos went and stayed with my sister and her family. We also went to a bridal shower for one of my cousins, which was so much fun even though I was not feeling the greatest. I kept getting really dizzy and lightheaded and kept feeling like I was going to pass out.
So, for the next few days I pretty much could not do a thing without feeling like I was going to pass out. I couldn't even stand long enough to make my kids lunch!! Well, last Wednesday me and the kids were at a friends house making cookies with the Young Women's for a Girls Camp fundraiser, And I wasn't feeling the best and had to keep sitting down. Well, I was sitting there and one of my friends who was being so sweet was giving me a nice back massage and I past out! Luckily my friend caught me. So her and my other friend carried me to the couch. It was crazy! I was okay but didn't feel very good so I just went home and tried to rest. It's been pretty hard too because James has this crazy work schedule for the summer where he works nights and then has to sleep during the day, so I have to try and keep the kids as quiet as I can. Yeah right!
The next day after I past out, I was so sick and had to go to the E.R.! I had really low blood pressure and I was extremely dizzy. So they did a bunch of blood work and gave me some fluids. My blood work came back fine. I wasn't anemic or dehydrated so that was good. And for those that don't know this, when I was twelve weeks I had an ultrasound done and we saw the baby and it looked really good, and then my nurse midwife moved over a little and she said hmm, what's this? And we looked and saw what seemed to be another head but nothing else. It was just a quick ultrasound and it wasn't ever confirmed but there is a possibility that we may be having twins!! And twins does run in the family. My husband is a twin! So back to the e.r., when the e.r. doctor came in to see me, he felt my uterus and said that I was pretty big for only being sixteen weeks. I told the e.r. doc that we MAY be having twins and he said that maybe that is why I past out and am feeling this way is because I have more hormones or something. He wouldn't do an utrasound but did listen to the heartbeat. They only picked up one heartbeat but with twins it can be harder to pick up both. We do have our big ultrasound in a few weeks so we'll find out then for sure if we're having twins!
Then, this past Sunday the e.r. called me and told me I have urinary tract infection and prescibed me an antibiotic. I started taking it this past Tuesday night and when I woke up yesterday morning I had a small rash on my face but didn't think too much of it. So last night my face was getting worse. Burning and itching pretty bad. I figured it was an allergic reaction to the antibiotic I took so I called the e.r. and told them about my face and they said to come right in to get checked out. We all loaded up in the car and headed back to the e.r.! We didn't really want to get a babysitter so the kids just went with us and we didn't really think we'd be that long. We got there and we were in the waiting room and the rash had spread all over my neck and felt like a really bad sunburn. When it was my turn to go back the rash was all over my chest and arms. I was so sick and pretty upset. It sucked! They gave me some Benadryl and some fluids and I felt tons better. And we live clear out in Dugway which is an hour away from Tooele but Tooele's hospital doesn't except our insurance so we have to go to Salt Lake. We didn't get home until 3:40 this morning!!! The kids did so good though! They just played games on my IPhone the whole time and had treats. Lucky them!! We didn't wake up til almost noon today!! I am feeling better but my face still has a rash on it and I am taking some medicine for it. So if this post doesn't make a whole lot of sense that's why, it's because of the meds I'm taking!! LOL! Anyway, what we do to have these babies! It's all worth it even though it can be such a trial! I would do it over and over again!! I am so grateful to even be able to carry a baby and I really have nothing to complain about!! So that's what we've been up to lately. Love you all!!

You poor girl! Its such a scary experience having a reaction to medications, I know because it seems I am allergic to EVERYTHING!! lol I am so excited for you and the possiblity of twins! That is sooooo great!! Can't wait to hear how your big ultrasound turns out! Hope you feel better soon from your infection!!
Oh my goodness! What a week. I hope you are feeling a little better. That would be so awesome if you had twins, though! Hopefully there is a good reason why you were feeling that way. Hopefully we'll see you soon and take it easy (or at least as easy as you can with kids;)!!)
Oh, no Im soooo sorry. I will keep you in my prayers that you will be feeling better soon. Did they say if there was anything you could do to make your blood pressure higher so you wouldnt pass out? I was surprised he didnt do an ultrasound. I cant wait to find out if your having 1 or 2!!!!! love ya
Oh my gosh Janese! I'm so sorry!! I hope you're doing better now!
I feel like a dope and didn't realize you lived out in DUGWAY!! My father-in-law works out there. We tried to get Tyler a job out there so we could move out there, too, but it didn't work out.
I hope you're doing a lot better now!
Love you bunches!
