Our fun weekend!

We had such a fun weekend! Not that anyone really cares about what we did, but this is kind of my journaling and I wanted to remember it. And my memory is not that great! On Friday morning, I finally had my first doctor appointment. It went really well. They did an ultra sound and we saw the baby!! It had a really good heart beat and looked great. That was very exciting! My due date is November 27. I still can't believe we are having a baby. We feel very blessed.

After my appointment, we took the kids to McDonald's for breakfast. I love their pancakes! They're so dang good! While we were there, we were sitting next to this Spanish speaking couple and James knows Spanish from his mission, so he knew what they were talking about. Yes he was listening to them. They were talking about the church. The woman is a member and the man has been having the missionary discussions. The man was saying,"Whenever missionaries come home from their missions the first thing they do is get married!" And James turned to him and said that that was what he did! They started talking and we were there for quite awhile. The man was questioning why we needed the Book of Mormon too and not just the Bible. So James gave this man a few scriptures to read about that subject and told him to pray about it. It was so neat to see James using his Spanish and was able to do some missionary work! It brought tears to my eyes. I felt like were there at the right time and the right place.

After that, we were able to visit my sister in law, Mandi and her two cute kids. It was so good to see her. We had a fun time and the kids love playing together. Then we went and visited with some friends of ours that we haven't seen in quite awhile. It was fun. Then, we headed to my parents house for the weekend. We always have such a fun time together and me and my sister can get pretty silly! Our husbands look at us like we're crazy or something! My sister is really the only person that I can act silly and crazy around and not feel stupid. I love her! By the way, my sweet sister and her husband have finally set a date to take their three little angels to the temple to be sealed!! We are very proud of them and love them very much!

On Saturday, me, my mom and sister had a girls day out for my mom's birthday! We saw Seventeen Again, which we loved and then we went to Iggies for lunch and did some shopping of course!! Way fun! Sunday, was a special day. It was my mom's birthday and my dad got put into the bishopric as the second counselor. So, we had a pretty busy weekend and a very fun one!

I have been sick being pregnant and I have had no energy to do anything. But lately, I am finally starting to feel better. Thank goodness. My poor kids and husband. And house. They have been neglected a little. Okay. A lot. Thanks James for doing a little extra around the house for me. Like doing the dishes. Thank heavens for dishwashers. That's all I have to say! Love you all!

I would say that you definitely were in the right place at the right time. I am sure James touched that man in a way that no one else could have. Doesn't it make you so proud to have such a good hubby?! I love those moments when you just look at them and wonder, "how did I get so lucky?"

Glad you had a wonderful weekend. I would really love to get together with you and Chels sometime.
