Late Saturday night, I got a phone call from my mom telling me that my cousin had fallen and hit her head very hard and was life flighted to the University of Utah Hospital. They did an MRI and found a tumor! My heart is aching for her and her family right now! She is the oldest of the cousins and then me, so we were pretty close growing up. I looked up to her so much and still do. She is a very outgoing person and is very sweet and I know she will overcome this trial she is facing. It was a "blessing" that she fell because she would have never even known that she had a tumor. She had surgery on Monday and they did a biopsy and they will find out the results in a couple days whether it's benign or malignant! I visited her today and she seems to be doing okay considering. I just broke down! My family has been through so much with losing my other cousin a couple of years ago and I have cousin right now who is heavily into drugs. It is so hard for me to see my family hurting and in pain! I wish I could just make everything better, but I can't! I know that our Heavenly Father knows each of us and I know with prayer and faith, things will work out how they are suppose to. We are asking every one to keep her and our family in your prayers. It means a lot to us! I have a link to her blog who ever is interested in her story. I LOVE my FAMILY!!!!

Oh no, I really hope she'll be okay. You are always so caring and compassionate. Your cousin is lucky to have you to help her through this. I'll keep her in my prayers.
Isn't it amazing how the Lord works? It really is a blessing that they were able to find the tumor the way they did. Unfortunately, that doesn't make it any easier. I am wishing her the best and we will keep you and your family in our prayers!
