28 years ago today….

My sweet dear mother gave birth to me. I am so grateful for her and all she went through during my birth. She had really bad toxemia and she was pretty sick. While getting her epidural, the anesthesiologist put the needle in the wrong spot in her back and it caused her to have two or three Grand mal seizures in a row! They did an emergency c-section and when I was born I was pretty much life-less. My grandpa was called in and he gave me an amazing blessing and I was fine. But, as a result of my mom’s seizures I didn’t get the amount of oxygen that I needed to my brain and was diagnosed when I was three years old that I have a mild form of Cerebral Palsy. It has been such a hard thing for me to try and deal with in my life. I am limited on so many physical things and have major anxiety and some days can be very challenging. But, I would not change it for one minute. I know that it is a part of our Heavenly Father’s plan for me! This is just one of the many trials that I have to overcome! I feel so very blessed to have been born into such a loving family who are always there and I feel so blessed to have such an amazing husband who is always encouraging me and uplifting me in every way. I am also so grateful for my three sweet angels who were sent to me to be their mommy! Hopefully there are more to come! Each day is a challenge, but I know with the help of the Lord I will get through anything!
